If you ever find yourself in the Amalfi Coast, do yourself a favor and get over to the island of Capri. While you’re there, do 2 things.
1. Go say hi to Carlo, my friend who owns a cafe called Il Gabbiano at the main port. He and his family are awesome, and will totally hook it up with fresh orange juice and sandwiches.
2. Eat at La Gioia, a small seafood restaurant at Marina Piccola. They have a terrace overlooking the water, and you can see Sophia Loren’s villa while you eat the best caprese salad of your life.
